Corinthia Hotels International, who signed an initial agreement with US operator Wyndham Hotel Group in August 2006 to manage their hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is now making progress with its future plans. Under the deal Corinthia, with 19 hotels, mostly company-owned, will manage all Wyndham, Ramada and Corinthia properties in the EMEA region and re-brand all but seven of the Corinthia”s as either Ramada Plaza or Wyndham hotels.
The seven properties which make up the Corinthia hotels Premier Collection are to be affiliated with a new tier in the Wydham brands called the Wyndham Grand Collection. These will be the Corinthia Palace Hotel (Malta) ” the company”s first property (pictured) ” the Corinthia San Gorg (Malta), the Corinthia Towers (Prague), the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal (Budapest), the Corinthia Bab Africa (Tripoli), the Corinthia Alfa (Lisbon/Santarem) and the Corinthia Nevskij (St. Petersburg).
One hotel has already been integrated into the Ramada online booking system: the Corinthia Panorama Hotel in Prague. The hotel will be re-branded as a Ramada property by the summer.
