DUBAI'S TAMANI HOTEL MARINA is wooing women travellers with a new dedicated 'ladies-only' floor. Located on the 29th level of the 55-storey, all-suite hotel, it includes amenities such as softer blankets, safes for jewellery, upmarket bath products and calorie-specific meals.
"The idea of having a 'ladies-only' floor is to ensure that our female guests feel as relaxed and secure as they would in their own home," says Roddy Gordon, Tamani's vice president of sales and marketing.
The group also has three more hotels scheduled to open in Dubai next year. The first two are the Tamani at Park Lane Tower Business Bay and the Tamani Exclusive at El Matador Towers, Jumeirah Village, both around 20 minutes from the airport.
Later in the year, the Tamani Arts Hotel, part of the Artisan Cluster Business Bay development, will add a further 530 rooms to the accommodation stock in Dubai.
The group has announced plans to develop a diverse portfolio of 15 properties by 2014.
