TRX, the transaction processing and data integration solutions company, is to employ a dedicated team to run RESX Technologies due to the growing popularity of the RESX corporate booking engine.
Shane Hammond, former TRX executive vice president sales and client services, has been appointed president of the new team. He will continue to serve on the executive team and report to TRX president and CEO Trip Davis. TRX chief operating officer Vic Pynn will assume the responsibilities of Hammond”s previous role.
RESX Technologies will release the latest version, RESX v6.3, in late January. The new system has been completely redesigned to include Web 2.0 practices throughout the booking process, with new interface, updated workflow, improved navigation, air pricing matrix, customised style sheets and a new user profile display.
Hammond commented on the future of the product and his new team: ”My team is set. Our collective goal is to deliver an application that will increase our distributors” value and help corporations decrease their travel costs. We”re ready to put our plans into action.”
