WHEN INSTALLING THE latest technology, it helps when one of your major clients happens to be Samsung.
Great Fosters, the Elizabethan country house hotel in Egham, near Windsor, enlisted the help of the technology giant to advise on the installation of hi-tech equipment for its new Coach House business facility, which is scheduled to open this month.
The latest innovations include a video wall in the main meeting room and 50-inch plasma screens in the smaller meeting suites.
"All of which will ensure that the Coach House is not only seen as an exclusive new product to the business market, but one which is also technologically excellent," says Richard Young, Great Fosters' director and general manager. "Staff are also being trained at Samsung to ensure they have the relevant expertise to advise our clients and ensure they are getting the most out of the technology on offer."
There are also three boardroom-style meeting rooms, together with a stylish breakout area. The new complex also includes 22 bespoke bedrooms, which include Samsung plasma screens and iPod docking stations. The main hotel has a total of 33 rooms.
