LONDON'S GROSVENOR HOUSE, which has just completed a four-year, £100 million-plus restoration, has been rebranded as a JW Marriott - the first in the UK.
The re-launch establishes the landmark Park Lane hotel as the European flagship for the brand. The extensive restoration programme features five bars and four dining options, including a new signature restaurant of celebrity chef Richard Corrigan.
With 494 rooms and suites, it is the capital's largest fivestar hotel. Many original features of the period - the hotel opened in 1929 - have been retained, and all rooms now feature the latest in-room technology.
The renovation extends to the hotel's conference and banqueting facilities, which are among the most extensive in central London.
