A new tool to integrate companies” car travel into corporate travel programmes has been launched by Hogg Robinson Group (HRG).
The travel management company said HRG Ground Transportation was the ”first fully integrated service” of its kind in the industry.
HRG said that companies were ”increasingly aware” of the lack of policy and data control they had over car travel.
The TMC said the new too taxi and chauffeur cars bookings to be made at the same time as those for airlines and hotels, providing full visibility of spend and compliance to travel policy.
The new tool was designed with IT company GroundScope.
Brian Merry, HRG”s director of products, said it enabled companies ”to consolidate their ground transportation spend and provide vital information about what is being spent where, giving businesses better control than ever before.
He added: ”Our bespoke solution accesses a variety of international and local suppliers, including clients” own preferred suppliers as required, to identify the most economical and efficient means of transportation.”
