Messaging platform Grapevine has unveiled its “next generation” platform, which is designed to reduce leakage from travel programmes to benefit both TMCs and corporate travel teams.
Grapevine 2.0 will be able to detect “gaps” within itineraries by monitoring live booking data. It will then provide travellers with “timely, personalised” prompts to book services such as hotels, ground transport and other ancillaries within preferred corporate channels.
The platform will also provide a 24-hour support service to travellers using conversational AI to provide a white-label assistant, which sits behind the TMC or corporate brand.
Meanwhile, Grapevine will supply real-time reporting and insights to give TMCs and corporate buyers consolidated data on leakage, programme performance and savings opportunities.
Jack Dow, Grapevine’s founder and CEO, said: "Traveller expectations have changed and the industry needs tools that support them across the whole journey without placing additional strain on TMC and corporate teams.
“Grapevine 2.0 brings proactive communications, real-time support and transparent reporting into one secure platform that delivers measurable impact with minimal effort for our partners. We are excited to bring this next generation product to market."
The company added that the enhanced platform “picks up where existing TMC workflows finish and delivers measurable commercial impact”.
Grapevine said that early performance metrics for the new platform have shown a 30 per cent increase in conversion rates due to increased personalisation and better targeting of travellers.
Further improvements include a streamlined onboarding process for clients thanks to a new suite of platform integrations, including direct feeds with major GDSs, OBTs and TMC systems.
