Corporate Travel Management has developed a widget to measure traveller wellbeing within the CTM Portal, the Australia-based travel management company announced.
The widget analyses such factors as travellers' trip lengths, weekend trips, overnight flights, time zone changes and last-minute travel to determine a wellbeing score for each traveller on a scale of one to 100.
Travel managers can view the scores as hearts colour-coded green, amber and red to show how at-risk each traveller is.
The widget, currently available in Australia and New Zealand, is part of the dashboard that also includes data on carbon emissions for upcoming trips and compliance information.
CTM head of product for Australia and New Zealand Cherie Drummond said the tool was "driven by our customer feedback loops."
The company isn’t the first to TMC to sharpen focus on traveller wellbeing. In 2022, both Egencia and Tripactions launched tools to provide greater insight into traveller behaviour, while Agiito also began offering clients the opportunity to include wellbeing “hubs” as part of their conferences and events.
A BCD survey last year showed that traveller wellbeing was among the top priorities for buyers, but not all organisations are providing adequate support.
