Travel management company Navan has established a direct connection with Emirates for the carrier's New Distribution Capability (NDC) content.
The connection gives Navan access to fares and promotions from Emirates, which are available exclusively through NDC channels and not via traditional EDIFACT global distribution channels.
The TMC added that the deal also gives it capabilities for automated changes, cancellations and refunds on Emirates’ flights, while users can access the airline’s ancillaries, such as its complimentary chauffeur service for First and Business Class passengers and baggage add-ons, as well as seat selection.
Emirates becomes the 24th carrier to join Navan's NDC programme, alongside major airlines such as British Airways, Air France, KLM, Lufthansa Group Airlines, Finnair, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines and American Airlines.
