Aeromexico is to work with technology specialist Accelya to “fast track” its bookings through NDC-enabled platforms.
The Mexican airline plans to use Accelya’s FLX Passenger Platform to “improve control of its sales channels” by allowing it the flexibility to create and bundle offers across all channels, including NDC-based portals.
Aeromexico will use Accelya’s offer creation and NDC solution to sell ancillaries, as well as utilising offer and order management across both direct and indirect booking channels.
Rasti Martos, SVP of revenue management and distribution at Aeromexico, said: “Accelya’s focus on helping Aeromexico achieve retailing independence has made them our stand-out partner of choice to develop and enhance our retailing strategy.
“By improving control of our sales channels, we are able to serve our customers with the great offers they are looking for, wherever they choose to shop.”
Mark Hollander, SVP commercial, Americas at Accelya, added: “Aeromexico has joined an elite group of innovative airlines testing the boundaries of omnichannel NDC and merchandising distribution, across the Americas and worldwide.”
