Next year's Business Travel Show - the event for those who book or buy corporate travel and meetings - will be held in Earls Court 2 from February 13-15
The show makes its move from previous venue Olympia and will take place two weeks later than usual from February 13-15.
Business Travel Show 2006 attracted 158 exhibitors and almost 7,000 visitors to this year's show. This year it aims to get 200 exhibitors.
Business Travel Show event director David Chapple commented: ”We decided to move to Earls Court 2 because we outgrew Olympia after six years of increasingly successful shows there. As well as providing us with more floor space and the potential for future growth, the layout at Earls Court means we can have a single level exhibition floor, which we believe makes it easier for visitors to get around the show.”
He added: ”The new dates were chosen simply to give our exhibitors a little extra time to get organised after the Christmas break.”
The show has also announced increased partnerships with Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), Institute of Travel Management (ITM) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI). Each association is using its industry expertise to create a series of conference sessions for travel and meeting budget holders, which will sit alongside the show's practical programme for small and mid-sized businesses.
The association-led sessions will focus on critical issues facing the business travel industry today, such as the debate surrounding corporate social responsibility.
In addition, the Business Travel Show Party will take place on February 13 at the Science Museum. The party is the official networking event for exhibitors and VIP visitors. Entry is free to anyone carrying a valid Business Travel Show 2007 pass.
