Nils Hartmann has been appointed as head of The Collective Germany
BCD Meetings & Events has introduced its creative services division, The Collective, in Germany after executives, in a recent interview with BTN Europe, detailed expansion plans for the specialist agency throughout Europe and beyond.
First introduced in 2021 across the UK and US, The Collective provides integrated marketing campaigns, video and event production, and experience design services.
"Germany is the first market to launch The Collective in the EMEA region,” said Mikael Ek, BCD M&E’s managing director in the region. “Demand for more content-led, production-driven experiences continues to grow and this launch allows us to better meet that need.”
As part of the expansion, BCD M&E has appointed Nils Hartmann as head of The Collective Germany, where he will lead the development of its creative and strategic capabilities in the market.
Based in Frankfurt, Hartmann joins the company with more than 25 years’ experience in marketing, events and sponsorship management. He has held senior positions at agencies such as Avantgarde, Spark44 and Wowing Experience, and most recently served as business development and sustainability director at Uniplan.
