Simpila Healthy Solutions has launched a new survey to take the pulse of the business travel sector’s awareness of mental health and wellbeing.
The latest Business Traveller Wellbeing Survey, which respondents can answer in full confidentiality, follows last year’s survey that helped initiate an industry-wide debate on both wellbeing and mental health.
Last year, the survey revealed 74 per cent of the companies represented do not have a travel policy that included supporting mental health, while 80 per cent of those who have/had mental health problems have not told their employer.
Respondents at no point will be identified via their responses, and they are encouraged to be honest, with responses based upon your personal experiences and feelings. Those taking part may choose leave a name and contact if they are happy to be more involved in future discussions and support.
The results of the survey will be discussed at the next BBT Forum, where Matthew Holman, founder of Simpila, will be speaking on a panel entitled “Mental health – from theory to practice”.
The BBT Forum, held in association with ACTE, takes place on 7 November at the Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge. Travel buyers and meetings professionals attend for free.
