Internova Travel Group has established a partnership with non-profit organisation Sustainable Travel International to share its expertise in sustainability education and reporting with clients.
President Gabe Rizzi said Internova, formerly known as Travel Leaders Group, will be working with Sustainable Travel International to both reduce its own carbon emissions and help the group’s agencies and corporate clients to cut their own environmental impact as well.
The partnership will give clients access to consultation in setting carbon reduction goals, tools to monitor and reduce carbon footprints, as well as access to vetted climate protection projects offering certified carbon offset options.
“A more sustainable future will only become a reality if we all do our part,” explained Rizzi. “That’s why we’re taking this collaborative approach with Sustainable Travel International. Together, we will take the necessary steps to reduce our travel emissions while helping advisors, as well as corporate and leisure clients, do the same.
“Equally, our clients need accountability for their own travel plans. Partnering with Sustainable Travel International will allow us to equip our clients with information to make responsible travel choices.”
Internova owns corporate travel brands such as Altour, Tzell and Protravel International, while Travel Leaders Group is the second largest TMC network in Europe.
