Travel management supplier Frosch has now opened its London office in a bid to migrate some of its US business to Europe. The independently-owned TMC has 14 offices across the US and is planning to emulate its business plan from its US division, in addition to harnessing more business from this side of the world.
Frosch UK vice president Jason Barreto told ABTN: ”We have big plans for the London office and hopefully it will mirror the success Frosch has had in the US. I believe some US TMCs have tried to crack the UK market with varying success but we are going to use our US business model with a little tweaking for the UK market to try and get the same results.”
The company, which was founded in 1972, revealed that about 60% of revenue is attributable to the corporate sector. In addition Frosch also offers a range of products from group, leisure, conference and incentive travel to management services, international documentation, rail, aircraft charter, meet-and-greet, translation service and a full range of concierge products.
Baretto said: ”Frosch prides itself on operating a more flexible company than some of its larger competitors. Our corporate online booking tool helps companies reduce travel costs and improve the travel purchasing process. The product allows travellers to book published fares and internet fares simply, quickly and efficiently, with the insurance of an agency partner behind the process to integrate corporate policy functions, quality assurance, and personalised customer services. Our quality control program continues to search for the lowest fare until departure time.”
US clients include Toshiba, Murphy Oil and Group 1 Automotive.
