This year”s annual Advantage Business Conference is to be held at Swiss”tel Zurich from 7-9 October in the hotel”s newly-renovated meeting area, which includes a separate business centre for conference organisers and a meetings concierge.
Aesthetic and technological upgrades have been made to the two floors of conference space on the second and 31st floors, such as state-of-the-art lighting facilities and the latest in internet and presentation equipment.
The three-day conference will draw heavily on members” experiences over the past 12 months and include a new debate session, The Great Debate, which will enable delegates to participate and give their views on a range of topical issues.
A debate mediator from outside the travel industry will be present and attendees can take part in an electronic voting system when each discussion reaches a peak, with the aim to focus in on the views of the delegates.
To maximise the amount of business leads and new opportunities, a speed networking session will start the proceedings before the conference formerly begins. The appointment diary will be set up electronically a few weeks before the event for attendees to plan their meetings.
