UK ground transport and accommodation provider CMAC Group has announced the acquisition of Spanish firm Aircinks Solutions.
In business for ten years, Aircinks supports airlines across Spain, Portugal and Morocco during flight disruption, providing ground transportation and accommodation services for affected passengers.
Following the launch of operations in Greece in 2018, the acquisition allows CMAC to expand into Spain, which the company says ‘bucks the trend’ of Brexit uncertainty.
With the addition of Aircinks, the group now serves more than 130 airports worldwide.
The Aircinks operation will continue to be overseen by Jordi Llopis and Israel Moreno, who will move across to the group, bringing with them their experience in dealing with flight disruption across the region.

The deal follows CMAC Group’s acquisition of Cabline in May and Cabfind in July 2018.
