French air traffic controllers plan to go on strike this evening, causing flight cancellations and possible delays.
The strike is expected to last until Thursday.
According to reports, airlines have been asked to cancel some 20% per cent of flights on Wednesday at Charles de Gaulle airport and 50% at Orly airport.
Paris' Charles de Gaulle airport is warning passengers to check with their airline before travelling.
More to follow...Tomorrow (July 21) Air France plans to cancel 50% of its short and medium-haul flights from Paris Orly and 20% of its short and medium-haul flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle.
The airline said it will operate all of its long-haul flights, but there may also be delays.
A spokesperson for Air France said: "All the airline's staff at airports and in sales are at the ready to keep customers informed if their flight has to be cancelled and in exchange offer an alternative method of transportation either with Air France or KLM via Amsterdam or with another SkyTeam member airline."
