The Finnish Aviation Union is threatening to strike later this month, likely to cause severe disruptions to Finnair's flights.
Around 3,300 members who work in the Finnish aviation industry are currently threatening a walk-out on Monday, October 25.
In a statement, flag carrier Finnair said if a strike took place it would "adversely affect Finnair's flight operations significantly".
The airline said it hopes Finland's national conciliator will intervene "as soon as possible".
The union has also kept in place an overtime ban for workers in the air transport technical services sector.
The dispute, over pay, escalated over the weekend.
