From September 1, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will up its flights, from five flights a week to daily, between Manchester and SIngapore via Munich.
Goh Choon Phong, Singapore Airlines' executive VP marketing and the regions, said: "The fact that we will be operating daily to Munich just five months after introducing the new destination is a testament to the popularity of the route."
The airline started flights to Munich in March with a B777-300ER.
"We are confident that the additional flights will cater to the growing demand of our business and leisure customers travelling to and from both Munich and Manchester," said Phong.
