Ryanair has launched a new US-orientated website targeting Americans who are visiting Europe.
The Irish carrier’s US site features flights priced in dollars and follows arch-rival Easyjet which launched a similar site for American customers in October 2012.
Ryanair said that the move was designed to make it easier for US-based customers to book flights. It added that London, Dublin, Barcelona, Rome and Paris were the top five destinations for Americans.
The site allows users to search and book Ryanair flights by price, route and travel period through the Fare Finder feature and they can also share fares with friends and family through a tool connecting to social media portals.
Ryanair is also to launch a new route between Manchester and Stuttgart from April 2 which will run six times per week from that date.
