Ryanair is revamping its Business Plus service by offering more flexibility on ticket changes.
The low-cost airline said it would be extending Business Plus passengers’ ability to make changes from one to two days either side of the original flight booking, as well as being able to make changes on the day of travel.
Ryanair's chief marketing officer Kenny Jacobs said that an estimated 25 per cent of passengers were travelling for business.
The airline launched Business Plus two years ago as part of its strategy to attract more corporate business.
The fare offers security fast-track access, priority boarding, premium allocated seat, dedicated Business Plus desk and free airport check-in.
The airline has also unveiled a new Leisure Plus fare which offers passengers a bundle of travel extras such as priority boarding, reserved seat and a 20kg hold bag for a fee of €51.99.
Ryanair is currently in the third year of its “Always Getting Better” programme which includes better digital services, new cabin interiors and route expansion.
The programme of enhancements was launched in 2013 when CEO Michael O’Leary famously said the airline would stop doing things that “that unnecessarily p*** people off”.
