Royal Brunei Airlines is resuming its Brunei to Ho Chi Minh City service from October 17.
The four-times weekly service to Ho Chi Minh will be operated by an Airbus A319 for flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while on Sunday the flight will be operated by an Airbus A320.
This means travellers can fly from London Heathrow to Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, with a connecting flight in Brunei.
The national airline of the oil rich state suspended flights to the Vietnamese city in 2011 when it cut a number of Australasian routes.
Royal Brunei’s deputy chairman Dermot Mannion, said: “Our Commercial team do regular route studies to develop and increase connectivity for our markets.
“In their latest studies, Ho Chi Minh City has emerged a frontrunner in providing connections for key markets from Melbourne, Dubai and London and also for regional destinations like Kota Kinabalu,” he added.
