Workspace specialist Regus has opened a meetings and arrivals facility at Gatwick’s South Terminal.
The Regus Express facility, which is landside in the Arrivals area of the terminal, claims to be the first to combine facilities such as showers and breakfast with the more traditional meeting room and business lounge offering.
There is a breakfast area with five showers, a library and open plan work area including free wifi and refreshments. Ten meeting rooms are available by the hour and there is also an outside area.
Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus Third Place, said that 20 per cent of passengers using Gatwick were business travellers.
“Gatwick, with its magnitude of connections to business destinations around Europe and its ability to connect arriving passengers to London within 30 minutes, provided us with the perfect opportunity to offer Regus Express,” he said.
