Qatar Airways is to begin flying to Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport from summer 2015.
The airline will operate a Dreamliner 787 on the daily Doha-Amsterdam service, which will start on June 16.
Fellow Gulf-based airlines Emirates and Etihad already fly from the Dutch airport to Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively. Qatar has so far only operated cargo flights from Schiphol.
In a separate move, Qatar has also confirmed that it will begin operating a second daily Airbus A380 flight between Heathrow and Doha from July 16, 2015.
Qatar launched its first superjumbo service on Heathrow-Doha in October 2014 and had originally planned to put a second A380 on the same route from December 1, 2014.
But the airline later cancelled this plan to allow it to use the aircraft on its Doha-Bangkok route instead.
