A passenger aircraft carrying 150 people has crashed in the outskirts of Islamabad.
The Airblue flight from Karachi to the Pakistani capital came down in heavy rain in the hills to the north of the city.
The number of casualties is not yet clear, though local reports have claimed a small number of badly injured have been taken to hospital.
The aircraft, believed to have been an Airbus 321, was reported to have left Karachi at 7.50am local time.
There were 146 passengers and six crew onboard.
Officials in Islamabad said the plane lost contact with air traffic control minutes before it was scheduled to land.
