The national carrier of Oman has started flights to Islamabad and Lahore, the second and third destinations in Pakistan, after Karachi.
Peter Hill, Oman Air's Chief Executive Officer, said: "This route reflects Oman Air's strong commitment to serving the people of Pakistan and providing a direct route from our country to these cities."
Philippe Georgiou, chief officer corporate affairs at Oman Air, said the addition of the two destinations would promote bilateral trade, business and tourism.
"This is considered to be an invaluable move by Oman Air and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman, especially when the airline industry faces difficult times. Indeed, Oman Air has shown great confidence in Pakistan through the addition of these two destinations," said Georgiou.
