Lufthansa pilots are set to hold an eight-hour strike at Munich airport on Wednesday (September 10) – the third strike by the German airline’s pilots within two weeks.
The latest industrial action is scheduled to take place at Munich Airport on Wednesday from 0900 until 1700 local time.
It will affect all Lufthansa flights, including long-haul services, at the airport.
Lufthansa said it could not yet say which flights would be affected and described the strike as "incomprehensible".
A strike last week from Lufthansa’s budget airline Germanwings caused 116 flights to be cancelled and affected 15,000 passengers. The airline said it suffered “significant” financial losses due to the action.
