All business-class airline La Compagnie has suspended its London - New York service, blaming the UK's vote to leave the EU.
The carrier said it's among a number of "very significant players" in the aviation industry that has been hit by the challenging economic climate, "fuelled by Brexit".
La Compagnie added it had taken the decision to enable the boutique airline to "continue with its development".
"This change in operations has not been taken lightly by La Compagnie teams. Despite very positive feedback from its valued UK and US customers on the London – New York route and encouraging performance levels (an average load factor above 77% since June 2016) this particular route economics remained fragile," La Compagnie said in a statement.
The ailrine said it wanted a greater focus on its Paris-New York route, with a second daily flight arriving next month.
“We would like to express our sincere thanks to each and every one of our passengers who have supported us since the launch of our London – New York operations from April 2015 to present," said Frantz Yvelin, founder CEO La Compagnie.
"This has not been an easy decision for us to make but we would like to emphasise that this is the suspension of, not the cancellation of, the London – New York route.” he added.
Earlier this summer, La Compagnie offered unlimited travel passes between New York and London/Paris for £25,000 each.
