LOT Polish Airlines will start flights between Warsaw and the Syrian capital from November 2.
The three-times weekly flight will be operated using an Embraer 175 aircraft.
Flight LO147 will leave Warsaw on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 10.30pm, arriving into Damascus at 3.10am local time.
Flight LO148 will leave Damascus at 4am, arriving into Warsaw at 7am.
In other news from LOT, fellow star alliance carrier TAP Portugal has started codesharing on a number of LOT-operated routes from Poland.
TAP has placed its TP code onto flights operated by LOT between Warsaw and Gdansk, Krakow, Poznan, Katowice, Rzeszow, Szczecin and Wroclaw.
The Portuguese national carrier operates its own flights between Warsaw and Lisbon.
