A general strike tomorrow is set to cause widespread disruption in France, with flights and trains cancelled.
Rail and airport workers will be among those taking part in the national walkout, starting at 8pm this evening, in ongoing protests against the French government's plans to raise the official retirement age to 62.
Air France has cancelled a number of domestic and European flights tomorrow, including to London City and Heathrow, but says it will be operating all long-haul flights.
In a statement, the airline said: "Some air traffic controllers' trade unions will take part in the general strike launched in France. As a result, French Civil Aviation Authorities have limited the number of flights for all airlines." Passengers should check their flight status before travelling to the airport.
Cross-channel rail operator Eurostar says its services will be unaffected, but warns onward connections from Paris are likely to be cancelled. Passengers can transfer their tickets to another date free of charge.
French rail company SNCF warned that less than one train in three will be operating on the country's high-speed rail network.
Ryanair has cancelled some 250 flights tomorrow as a result of the industrial action.
Easyjet has also said it will cancel a number of flights, and British Airways warns of disruption.
The strike is due to end at 8am on Wednesday (October 13).
