Flybe has announced it will operate a weekly service from Cardiff to Dusseldorf this summer.
The regional carrier will launch the service on April 25 and it will run until October 3, using one of Flybe’s 88-seat Embraer 175 jet aircraft.
The service will operate every Saturday, departing Cardiff airport at 1525 and arriving in Dusseldorf at 1810. The flight from Germany will depart at 1415 and arrive in Cardiff at 1500.
Flybe’s chief commercial officer, Paul Simmons, said: “We look forward to this new Saturday service being well used for travel between Wales and Düsseldorf.
"It will open up a convenient gateway into the country and help contribute to the local tourism economy from this important Rhine-Ruhr economic region.”
Earlier this week, Flybe announced it was suspending its London-Inverness service due to low passenger numbers.
