Regional airline Flybe is to introduce new flights to Amsterdam from both London City and Manchester airports.
Both routes will operate year-round to Schiphol from the start of the winter 2014-15 season in late October.
The Manchester flights will operate daily from October 26 using 88-seat Embraer 175 aircraft. Weekday services will leave Manchester at 13.40 for arrival at Schiphol at 16.15, while the return service departs Schiphol at 16.50 and arrives back in Manchester at 17.25.
Services from London City will run on Saturdays and Sundays from November 1 using a 78-seat Bombardier Q400.
Flybe signed a five-year deal in April to begin operating from London City from winter 2014-15. The Exeter-based airline ended services from Gatwick earlier this year after selling all of its slots at the Sussex airport to Easyjet.
The airline has already announced routes from London City to Aberdeen, Belfast City, Dublin, Exeter, Glasgow and Inverness.
Flybe’s chief commercial officer Paul Simmons said that demand for flights between Manchester and Amsterdam was already “extremely high”.
“We are also delighted to add another route to our fast-growing schedule at London City,” he added.
One-way fares on both routes will start from £39.99 including taxes and charges.
