EUROPEAN AVIATION AIR CHARTER, the Bournemouth Airport supplemental airline, and tied in with the Minardi Formula One Team, continues to fly under a creditors” voluntary arrangement. The carrier plans to go into 2005 with a fleet of eight ex-Sabena Boeing 737-200s and thee former British Airways Boeing 747-200s. Current clients include regular Palmair and Corsair, part of the French New Frontiers tour operator. Managing director Trevor Whetter, who also runs the very successful European Aviation spare parts business at Ledbury, says the airline is looking into a replacement aircraft for the 737s.
