Etihad Airways has unveiled its first A380 and B787 aircraft.
The Gulf airline will operate a three-times daily A380 service to Heathrow by the end of next year.
The A380 will debut with a daily service to London Heathrow from December 27, while the B787 will fly to Dusseldorf from February 1.
The A380 is the first of a fleet of 10 on order from Etihad, which is to take delivery of four more of the double-decker jets next year.
Etihad to operate A380 service three-times daily to HeathrowThe aircraft will feature the carrier’s new luxury Residence by Etihad three-room suite which includes a living room, separate ensuite shower room and bedroom as well as a dedicated butler.
Measuring 125 sq ft the Residence is located on the forward upper deck of the A380 and is for single or double occupancy.
The A380 also offers the "First Apartment", which features a reclining lounge chair and an ottoman and opens up to become a separate 80.5-inch fully-flat bed.
And, both jets feature Etihad's new "Facets of Abu Dhabi" livery, inspired by "traditional Emirati design patterns, the landscapes of the desert and the geometric shapes found in the modern architecture of Abu Dhabi.
