Two britons feared dead
Two britons are feared dead after Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-409 crashed into the Mediterranean sea.
The plane disappeared from radars shortly after take off from Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport in Lebanon, at 0200 this morning local time.
There were 82 passengers on board, among them two britons, and eight crew members.
The B737-800 was heading for Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.
Officials say a rescue operation is underway, but there is little chance of finding any survivors.
At least 14 bodies have so far been found, reports say.
Yesterday morning a Taban Air plane crash landed at Mashhad International Airport in Iran. There were no fatalities.
