Airline Emirates has rejoined the UK-based Business Travel Association (BTA) as an industry partner.
The Dubai-based carrier will work with the BTA to “amplify” the importance of business travel as well as “strengthen the industry’s positive impact on trade and the world’s economy”.
Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA, said: “I look forward to them actively engaging with the travel management sector as we all emerge from a very difficult period.
“Emirates is a world-leading airline and business travel and our members play a significant part in its success so it’s very exciting to have them back at the heart of our thriving community.”
The BTA has been welcoming more travel companies as partners in the past couple of years, including Lufthansa Group, Trainline and Premier Inn, as it looks to lead the “conversations” around the future of business travel.
Richard Jewsbury, divisional vice president UK of Emirates, said: “We are pleased to be rejoining the influential BTA community and look forward to continuing to support the business travel industry, as the post-pandemic recovery of the sector accelerates across our global network.”
