The Business Travel Association (BTA) has announced a new partnership with UK-based rail and coach travel specialist Trainline.
Members of both organisations will benefit from insights into the business travel and rail sectors, with data on domestic and international rail travel generated from Trainline’s 96 million monthly users.
The aim of the partnership is for the two organisations to work together to improve the rail sector for business travellers.
Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA said: “Rail is a crucial part of the business travel eco-system, providing essential journeys to commuters and business travellers every day. Having Trainline onboard will be a great benefit to our members.”
Trainline will become one of BTA’s Premium Partners and will participate in conferences on the sector, as well as contributing to the association’s partner news hour.
Champa Magesh, president at Trainline Partner Solutions, said: “By working together, our new partnership will help the travel sector deliver the experience that business travellers are looking for.
“This will help rebuild journeys after the impact of the pandemic, which benefits the wider rail industry, and will also support business travellers to make greener travel choices – which is good news for us all.”
