The Business Travel Association (BTA) has announced a new strategic partnership with the UK's largest hotel company, Premier Inn.
Throughout 2021, the two organisations will work on improving TMC technology and solutions, refining shared recruitment opportunities and enhancing the customer and partner experience within both sectors. The BTA and the Premier Inn team will also ensure that TMC members and partners have access to its shared consultancy services.
Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA, said: “With the UK’s biggest hotel group adding their support for TMCs and the business travel industry, it will give our sector the well-deserved boost it needs during these difficult times. We look forward to evoking strong and positive change within our shared industries.”
David Cooney, head of sales and distribution at Premier Inn, said: “We are always looking at ways in which we can strengthen our relationship and better understand the needs of our TMC partners and business travel customers, and this new partnership will help us do that.”
Premier Inn has been increasingly pushing the GDS channel over the past ten years in order to target the business travel market.
