OTA launches Global Alliance
Egencia today (December 9) launched its Global Alliance which has extended its reach into nine more countries.
The online agency said it now had strategic partnership with local TMCs in Argentina, Hungary, Russia, Romania, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Uruguay.
The move, part of its strategy for global expansion, now gives it a presence in 24 countries.
Egencia, part of the Expedia group, already has offices in London, Paris, North America and Asia.
The agency said it was committed to providing 24/7 services to clients around the world.
Rob Greyber, Egencia's president, said: "In the global economy, corporate travellers must be increasingly nimble and able to conduct business anywhere.
"Our Global Alliance positions Egencia to deliver on those needs and support our clients with global and local market expertise."
He added: "Egencia's global reporting platform and services helps organisations consolidate travel data from all points of sale, providing powerful insight for programme and policy optimisation."
Egencia said its new partners were: ATH in Russia, Ibusz in Hungary, Action Travel & Events in Argentina and servicing Uruguay, Accent Travel in Romania, Orient Travel in United Arab Emirates, Global Travel Pte in Singapore, Lotus Tours in Hong Kong and Lion Travel in Taiwan.
