Continental Airlines is to start a new service between Houston and Auckland in New Zealand.
The non-stop service, which is due to start on November 16 next year, will use the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Continental said it was the first airline in the world to announce a specific route for its Dreamliner fleet.
