Cityjet has increased the number of flights it operates on its London City to Dublin route by 25 per cent.
The budget carrier will now operate up to nine flights every weekday, with the earliest flight now departing out of LCY at 0645.
"As an Irish-based carrier, the Dublin to London City route has always been, and remains, very important to us,” said Patrick Lukan, Cityjet’s chief commercial officer.
“We continue to listen to our customers and they tell us that schedule and service are key to them making their buying decision which is why we have increased our all jet service to up to nine flights a day out of close in London City Airport,” he added.
Cityjet serves more than 250,000 passengers on the route every year.
Earlier this month, Cityjet announced it was axing its Cardiff airport to Glasgow route – nine months after the route was launched.
