British Airways is increasing capacity on its London-Nairobi route this summer, by switching its B777 aircraft for a B747 from July 1.
The Boeing jumbo will serve the route until October 30, adding 784 seats per week and 11,200 over the summer period.
Commenting on the move Edward Frost, British Airways commercial manager for South and East Africa said: “We’ve always said that we would add capacity if the opportunity arose. It has and we’ve seized it. The additional capacity and the fact that we offer an overnight schedule should be good news for leisure and business travellers alike.
“Morning arrivals in London mean that you don’t waste any time on your holiday and business trip. The schedule also allows for convenient transfer times to onward flights particularly to North America.”
