The result of Unite's ballot of more than 6,000 BAA staff is due to be announced today.
Unions Prospect and PCS have also balloted BAA staff members on industrial action, with the results due today.
Heathrow, Stansted, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton airports could be affected.
Brendan Gold and Brian Boyd, Unite's national officers for civil aviation rejected BAA's pay offer of a conditional 1.5% as "measly" and "nothing short of confrontational".
According to Unite, BAA staff accepted a pay freeze in 2009. Staff will also not receive a summer bonus as the company missed its performance targets by 3%.
