British Airways will continue flying its first superjumbo A380s between Heathrow and Frankfurt until mid-October.
BA is currently using the A380 and its first Dreamliner 787 on short-haul routes as training flights before both aircraft are deployed on their long-haul routes.
The airline intends to continue flying the A380 to Frankfurt until October 18. The aircraft is scheduled to start its first long-haul route to Los Angeles on September 24 and then to Hong Kong from October 22.
BA’s first Dreamliner is currently flying from Heathrow to Stockholm on its training flights, which are scheduled to continue until the end of August.
The airline is planning to start 787 flights to Toronto from September 1 and to Newark from October 1.
