Qantas has suffered engine problems on another flight from Singapore only 24 hours after an Airbus A380 made an emergency landing there.
Friday’s incident involved a Boeing 747 which had earlier arrived in Singapore from Frankfurt. It then departed to Sydney, the same destination that the A380 that suffered an engine explosion was operating to.
As in the previous incident, there were no injuries to the 412 passengers on the 747 and the aircraft returned safely to Singapore airport. Passengers were due to depart on the same aircraft later on Friday night following minor work by engineers.
