Air France is to launch new direct flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and London Gatwick airports at the start of the summer 2026 schedule.
The airline said it would operate two daily flights between Paris CDG and Gatwick from 29 March, using Airbus A220 aircraft. Air France has not flown from Gatwick since the mid-1990s.
Air France said the new Gatwick services would provide “better connections” to its global network through its Paris hub. The airline already offers six daily flights from Paris CDG to London Heathrow, while sister carrier KLM operates from both Heathrow and London City to Amsterdam Schiphol.
Flights from Paris to Gatwick will depart at 9.20am and 3.45pm, while return services from Gatwick will leave at 10.30am and 5.10pm.
Jonathan Pollard, Gatwick’s chief commercial officer, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Air France to London Gatwick, giving passengers more choice for direct flights to Paris and seamless access to Air France’s global network.”
Jérôme Salemi, general manager for Air France-KLM UK & Ireland, added that its new Gatwick flights “further strengthened our commitment to the UK market”. Currently Air France flies to six UK airports offering up to 300 flights per week.
Gatwick will welcome several new airlines in 2026, including Condor, Air Arabia and UK leisure specialist Jet2.
