Lakeside Princeton Conference Centre & Hotel in New Jersey is to join the ever-expanding Wyndham portfolio following a multi-million dollar refurbishment programme.
Known locally as ”The Merrill Lynch Conference Centre”, the property is to gain the new official title of Wyndham Princeton Forrestal Hotel & Conference Centre.
All 364 rooms, as well as the lobby, public spaces, infrastructure and exterior have all undergone extensive upgrades, with further investments planned for the hotel to comply with Wyndham standards.
”We are taking a fantastic property in a great location and making it even better by adding Wyndham service standards and a number of physical improvements,” said Wyndham Hotels and Resorts president, Peter Strebel.
All guest rooms will be equipped with amenities from Princeton architecture firm, Michael Graves & Associates, including coffeemakers, alarm clock radio with MP3 player connectivity and energy-saving lighting. Wyndham Smart Chairs, which come fitted with built-in power, internet outlets and pivot table, will also be available in all rooms.
The conference centre offers 64 state-of-the-art meeting rooms, with a total of 62,000sq ft (18,898sq m) of function space, as certified by the International Association of Conference Centres.
There is also an auditorium with seating for 400 delegates and on site dedicated meeting planners provide a range of services for meetings, conferences, training sessions and social events.
