Starwood Hotels & Resorts has launched a new site that consolidates promotions and offers from its portfolio of new properties.
www.starwoodhotels.com/newhoteloffers has special rates for meetings, leisure groups, short stays as well as SPG (Starwood Preferred Guest) and SPP (Starwood Preferred Planner).
Among the hotels currently highlighted are Alofts in Chennai and Bangalore in India and Bangkok; Four Points in Taicang, Shanghai and Pune in India; Sheraton Wuxi Binhu Hotel in China, Sheraton Udaipur in India and Sheraton Hsinchu in Taiwan; St Regis Lhasa in Tibet and St Regis Osaka; W Hotel in Koh Samui and W Hotel Bali; Westins in Gurgaon, New Delhi, in Siray Bay, Phuket and in Sendai, Japan; and The Astor in Tianjin, China of The Luxury Collection.
Like most of the major international hotel companies, Starwood looks to the Asia-Pacific to power growth.
It plans to double its current footprint to 100 hotels in China by 2012. India is now home to 29 Starwood hotels, with another 16 under development. In August, Aloft planted hotels in Chennai and Bengaluru and The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi opens this month, October.
Beyond China and India, Starwood launched its first Sheraton resort in Vietnam and also recently signed new deals for a Sheraton resort and spa in New Caledonia and a Le Méridien in Ho Chi Minh City. By year-end, the St Regis brand will debut in Tibet, Thailand and Japan, while W has already reached Koh Samui and Bali.
