Graeme Fyvie
Travel management company Take2Eton is expanding its energy and marine business by launching a new operation in Aberdeen.
The TMC has also recruited Aberdeen-based Graeme Fyvie to the newly created role of EVP of energy and marine to lead its expansion in the specialist sector. Fyvie spent more than 13 years at Reed & Mackay, where he was most recently general manager of energy and marine.
UK and US-based Take2Eton has been running an energy and marine business in Texas for the past three years and said that opening an office in Aberdeen will give it “sector capabilities on both sides of the Atlantic”.
Chris Thelen, founder and chair of Take2Eton Group, added: “Energy and marine is already an important and successful part of our business in the US, so Aberdeen is a natural next step in our strategy. It gives us specialist expertise and presence in two of the world’s key energy markets and creates a strong platform for further transatlantic growth.
“Graeme is exactly the person we wanted to lead that expansion. His knowledge of the energy and marine sector, and of the Aberdeen market, in particular, is exceptional.”
Fyvie will take up his role at Take2Eton on 2 November and will report to the TMC’s new CEO Julie Oliver, who joined the company in August.
“Take2Eton’s commitment to service excellence and its passion for delivering outstanding results for clients is truly exceptional,” added Fyvie.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to the next chapter of growth and helping elevate the energy and marine offering.”
